Key Qualifications:

Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (or equivalent) Valid Minnesota school psychologist license (PELSB) Strong commitment to equity and culturally responsive, inclusive practices Expertise in evidence-based practices for assessment, intervention, and mental health support Strong understanding of federal and state special education law and compliance Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills

Preferred Background:

National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or NCSP-eligible Experience with MTSS framework, consultation, and intervention planning Leadership and facilitation skills, especially in supporting adult learners Knowledge of crisis prevention/intervention and postvention strategies Prior experience working in urban, multicultural educational environments

Role Details:

Full-time (37.5 hours/week) and part-time options (approximately 18-26 hours/week) available Typical workday: 8am-4pm Serve K-12 students (no early childhood caseload) Work closely with other educational professionals across potentially multiple sites (locations to be confirmed) Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to drive positive student outcomes Compensation is determined through union partnership following the interview and credential review process and will be based on education level and years of experience.
