MyAdvisor is seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to perform behavioral health disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans. This is an examination-only position designed for psychologists seeking a flexible schedule while helping our nation's veterans. Your responsibility is to complete mental health evaluations, document your findings, and complete standardized VA disability reports that support Veterans' disability claims. This does not determine disability ratings or benefits. All disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Position Details Part-Time 1099 Contract Flexible schedule based on your availability In person examinations performed at a designated VA evaluation clinic or in your office Adult Veteran patient population Electronic documentation completed through a secure web-based system Position Description Review service treatment records, medical records, and supporting documentation before each evaluation Conduct comprehensive behavioral health disability evaluations Administer and interpret psychological assessments as appropriate Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and medical opinions when requested Document findings accurately in the electronic medical record system Submit completed evaluations within required timelines Follow all VA disability examination guidelines and documentation requirements Qualifications Required Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) Graduate of an APA-accredited doctoral program Completion of an APA-accredited internship Active, unrestricted psychologist license Strong computer proficiency, including EMR documentation Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills Preferred Previous VA Disability Evaluation or Compensation & Pension (C&P) examination experience Experience completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) Experience working independently while meeting documentation deadlines
