Qualifications and Experience:
Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology with a concentration in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state licensure as a school psychologist (or eligibility) Experience conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and offering counseling services to K-12 students Familiarity with special education processes, individualized education plans (IEPs), and federal/state education regulations Strong communication and consultation skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators Ability to use data-driven approaches to monitor and promote student success
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results Develop strategies to support students cognitive, social, and emotional wellbeing Collaborate with faculty and families to identify student needs and recommend interventions Assist with the implementation and monitoring of IEPs and 504 plans Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to student support decisions Provide crisis intervention and facilitate referral to community resources as needed Support school-wide initiatives promoting positive behavioral and academic outcomes
