9505721-97064 Job Description Step into a dynamic role supporting students at the elementary level for the 20262027 academic year. This full-time contract position offers the chance to make a direct impact on the lives of K5th grade students across two vibrant educational settings. You'll collaborate closely with a dedicated SLPA to serve approximately 8085 students, ensuring strong support and high-quality services. Your expertise in speech-language pathology will be central to evaluating student needs, developing tailored IEPs, leading meetings, and providing guidance and supervision for the SLPA. The primary caseload is based at one main elementary site, with additional responsibilities at a nearby charter schooloffering diversity and rewarding variety to your daily work.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid SLP license (CCC required) Proven school-based experience, particularly at the elementary level Skill in speech/language evaluations, IEP creation, and direct student service Effective leadership, communication, and supervisory skills for SLPA oversight Knowledge of best practices and recent trends in educational speech-language therapy Ability to adapt to multiple school environments and work collaboratively with staff and families
Role Responsibilities:
Assess and provide therapy for a diverse K5 student population Develop and implement IEPs, ensuring compliance and student growth Lead IEP meetings, working closely with teachers, families, and team members Supervise and mentor a full-time SLPA to maximize service delivery Serve both a primary school site and a charter school, fostering strong relationships at each Maintain thorough documentation and participate in ongoing professional development Experience a rewarding contract opportunity, enjoy working alongside enthusiastic staff, and expand your impact as a school-based SLP.
