• Evanston, IL The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technicalactivities associated with the performance of screening and diagnosticmammography procedures.

The MammographyTechnologist uses specialized X-ray equipment to take images of the breasttissue and work with radiologists to interpret the results. The Mammography Technologist helps detectbreast cancers early to improve the chances of successful treatment andsurvival.

• Minimum Requirements:
• + Current License or Certificate in state where they will beworking + One (1) year of experience as a Mammography Technicianpreferred.

+ Good interpersonal skills and ability to accuratelycommunicate with patients

+ Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
