Key Qualifications:

Previous experience in a hospital or high-volume clinical setting as an IR Technologist. Proficiency with imaging equipment and related safety protocols. Strong knowledge of sterile technique and infection control standards. Ability to provide optimal patient positioning and comfort during invasive and non-invasive procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and operate interventional imaging equipment for diagnostic and treatment procedures. Assist physicians in minimally invasive procedures, ensuring adherence to aseptic technique. Monitor patient status throughout procedures, reporting any changes as necessary. Perform contrast injections and assist with image-guided biopsies, drainages, and vascular access. Maintain accurate documentation and patient records. Ensure equipment is maintained and safety standards are upheld at all times. Educate and provide emotional support to patients and their families before, during, and after procedures.
