Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program Valid ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent State licensure (if required) At least one year of recent experience in MRI imaging Proficient in operating and troubleshooting MRI equipment Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI safety protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

Operate MRI machines to produce diagnostic images according to provider requests Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining protocols and ensuring their safety and comfort Review imaging orders, validate patient identification, and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with radiologists and other team members to ensure optimal image quality Monitor equipment functionality, perform routine quality assurance checks, and report concerns Adhere strictly to safety procedures, including proper use of shielding and screening for contraindications Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms and equipment, following infection control policies Assist with transporting or positioning patients as needed This contract position offers a collaborative environment with dedicated professionals who strive for clinical excellence.
