Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification in Radiology (R) is required Recent experience as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist Proficient in advanced imaging procedures, including vascular and non-vascular interventions Ability to assess, monitor, and care for patients before, during, and after procedures Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients, physicians, and support staff Thorough knowledge of safety protocols, sterile techniques, and radiation safety standards Current BLS certification
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images during IR procedures Assist interventional radiologists by preparing and positioning patients, securing imaging guidance, and maintaining a sterile field Monitor and document patient vitals, contrast administration, and procedural details Ensure compliance with all institutional and regulatory standards for safety and quality Handle post-procedure clean-up and equipment sterilization Support patient education regarding procedures and aftercare instructions
