Key Responsibilities:
In this vital role, you will operate advanced radiologic imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients effectively. Your expertise in various imaging modalities, including X-ray, and CT, will be instrumental in delivering exceptional patient care. Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality imaging results that support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort while adhering to aseptic techniques. Implement radiation safety protocols diligently to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure during all imaging procedures. Develops film by automatic or manual processing. Conduct diagnostic evaluations across various settings including outpatient settings and emergency room settings. Transport patients to and from the department if indicated. Maintain detailed documentation of imaging procedures, patient information, and technical parameters in compliance with healthcare regulations. Files and retrieves films. Records and provides charges for procedures performed.
Required:
