A Recreational Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving movement, sports, games, and other activities for brain stimulation. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

- 5:30PM We are seeking an Associate Therapist to join our team and provide compassionate, evidence-based care to our clients.

Completion of an accredited Master's Program for MFT, PCC, CSW, Psychology. Board of Behavioral Science Associate Number- Active Ability to communicate and coordinate services with clinical supervisors and counselors Ability to accept and implement supervisory directives and counsel Public relations and communication skills Knowledge and understanding of the disease of chemical dependency, related terminology and medical record charting Excellent verbal and written skills Ability to work with supervision Ability to provide direction and correction calmly Ability to handle a variety of situations in a controlled manner Experience with LGBTQA+ is important Willing to have an open-door policy
Responsibilities:
Participate in assessment and admission processes Provide individual therapy Facilitate Therapy Groups Participate in treatment planning Documentation of client status and response to treatment; and other support tasks Facilitate crisis intervention sessions Twin Town Treatment Centers is Accredited by the Joint Commission & Certified by theState of California Job Type:
