Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Make a difference by bringing your expertise as an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse to a dedicated team specializing in high-quality patient care. This contract opportunity requires the ability to provide clinical excellence during night shifts in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit.
Schedule:
Nights 36 hours per week, 3x12-hour shifts 13-week contract
Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered AL or multistate compact RN license (pending applications not accepted) Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing Demonstrated previous travel assignment experience Proficiency in using Cerner electronic medical records system Local and travel candidates will be considered
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver patient-centered care for diverse medical-surgical cases Accurately assess, monitor, and document patient conditions Administer medications and implement physician orders according to established protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care Educate patients and families on healthcare plans, procedures, and ongoing care requirements Respond promptly to emergencies and adapt to changing patient needs
