Not required Position Highlights Acute-care hospital case management role Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Acute care case management and utilization management experience required Epic experience highly preferred No floating, call, or weekend requirement Flexible scheduling required; scheduling requests cannot be accommodated Required Experience Minimum 3 years of acute-care case management experience Utilization management experience required Strong experience with discharge planning and care coordination Experience developing and coordinating patient plans of care Familiarity with hospital-based case management workflows Core Responsibilities Perform acute-care case management and utilization review Coordinate patient care across interdisciplinary teams Develop and monitor plans of care Support discharge planning and transitions of care Evaluate medical necessity and resource utilization Coordinate with providers, social services, transportation, and other support departments Apply regulatory and payer guidelines to patient care decisions Ensure compliance with hospital, CMS, HIPAA, and quality standards Required Certifications & Credentials Active California RN license required at submission Permanent CA RN license must be in hand; pending or temporary licenses are not accepted BLS required Epic experience highly preferred Two supervisor-level professional references from within the past year required at submission Charge RN references are not accepted Preferred Knowledge & Skills InterQual criteria Milliman Care Guidelines Utilization review CMS regulations ICD-10 coding DRG knowledge CPT coding and billing NCQA standards The Joint Commission standards Core Measures and National Patient Safety Goals Department of Health requirements OSHA and HIPAA compliance Workers' compensation processes Schedule & Contract Details 5x8-hour day shifts 8:00 AM-5:00 PM No weekend requirement No floating requirement No on-call requirement No scheduling requests can be accommodated Up to 2 weeks of RTO allowed No RTO during the first 2 weeks of the assignment Flu vaccination required; no exemptions COVID vaccination not required Orientation/modules may include billable and non-billable hours

Pay Weekly Pay:

Up to $2,680

Blended Hourly Rate:

Up to $67/hr

Taxable Hourly Rate:
