Job Description

Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Encompass Health, seeks a Full Time RN to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adult rehabilitation patients. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care for patients recovering from stroke, brain or spinal cord injury, and other complex conditions. Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and case managers to support recovery goals, educate patients and families, and ensure safe discharges. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for rehab patients. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies following evidence-based protocols. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers to support rehabilitation goals. Monitor patient progress, document accurately in the EHR, and communicate changes promptly. Educate patients and families on recovery, safety, and discharge plans. Maintain infection control, safety, and quality standards in an inpatient rehab setting. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care conferences. Support new clinical initiatives and continuous quality improvement efforts.
