Role Overview As a Registered Nurse specializing in labor and delivery, you will lead the coordination and delivery of compassionate, quality patient care. Utilizing the nursing process, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring patients and their families receive the support and education they need. Your role is critical in communicating effectively with the healthcare team and finding solutions to meet patient goals. What You Will Do Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering compassionate patient care. Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families. Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team. Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals. Qualifications What You Will Need Required Qualifications Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Health care provider certification (BCLS). Preferred Qualifications BSN preferred. 1-2 years experience in Labor and Delivery, Post-partum or Nursery.
