Overview We are seeking a dedicated Physician or Nurse Practitioner specializing in Pain Medicine to join a Pain Management Clinic in Gresham, OR. This role offers flexible part-time or full-time hours, providing an excellent opportunity to deliver comprehensive pain management services within a multidisciplinary setting.

APPLY TODAY! Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations, focusing on pain evaluation and management strategies. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating pharmacologic therapies, injections such as botulinum toxin treatments, and non-pharmacologic interventions. Administer injections and perform procedures including dermal fillers, spinal taps, and catheterizations with sterile technique. Manage complex cases involving acute pain, chronic pain syndromes, and post-operative pain within diverse settings such as outpatient clinics, hospitals, or assisted living facilities. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Athenahealth for accurate documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and medical records. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including anesthesiologists, physical therapists, and behavioral health specialists to optimize patient care. Provide telehealth consultations for remote patient management when appropriate Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) or Nurse Practitioner certification with current licensure in the practicing state. (MD/DO Degree and license/ FNP/ APRN Masters Degree and license for OR state) Familiarity or Experience in pain medicine including acute care experience, hospital medicine, or emergency medicine settings (Or Willingness to learn) Familiarity with advanced procedures such as spinal taps, sonography-guided injections, and catheter care. Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; experience with medical documentation and coding is highly desirable. Strong understanding of physiology related to pain pathways and pharmacology for medication prescribing within DEA regulations. Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator management), hospice & palliative care patients. Ability to perform clinical procedures such as IV infusion/insertion, venipuncture, suturing, and sterile processing techniques. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient education.
