Role Overview:

A qualified Nurse practicing independently in a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver nursing care following the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Administer medications and treatments according to protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately. Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, or caregivers, identifying issues and available resources. Delegate tasks appropriately to care team members to manage clinical situations effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred. Valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
