Weeks Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year of Patient Services Representative or healthcare administrative experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
2+ years of PSR experience preferred.
Experience with health plan insurance and authorization processes.
Experience with EPIC and surgery scheduling preferred.
Responsibilities:
Schedule patients for surgical procedures.
Obtain and verify all required pre-operative results and reports.
Financially clear patients for scheduled procedures.
Obtain insurance authorizations.
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with EPIC Surgery Scheduling and plastic surgery procedures is a plus.
