We are seeking a Medical Phone Operator to support our busy clinical office in Lakewood, CA .

Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:30pm

Pay:

$23-25/hr

Responsibilities:

Answering multiple phones lines and responding to patient inquiries Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments and follow-up visit Greet and check in patients Verify insurance coverage and demographic information Collect patient payments and communicate fees due Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR system Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments and follow-up visits Route messages to appropriate staff members

Qualifications and Skills:

At least 1 year of managing phone lines in a clinical setting Bilingual, required Knowledge of medical terminology Knowledge of medical insurance Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment Ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population ProHealth Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer 9.5 DH
