Intake Coordinator -
Family Admissions & Sales Location:
Englewood Cliffs, NJ | Hybrid Golden Steps ABA is a growing national provider committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality ABA therapy to children and families. We are looking for an empathetic, persistent, and results-driven Intake Coordinator to help families take the first step toward receiving services. This is a high-volume, metrics-driven admissions role that combines family support, consultative sales, and pipeline management. You will guide interested families from initial inquiry through qualification and intake, creating a supportive experience while moving each family toward a clear next step. What You'll Do Respond quickly to new family inquiries and referrals. Complete approximately 40-60 inbound and outbound calls per day, primarily with warm leads and families already in the intake pipeline. Educate families about ABA therapy, our services, and the intake process. Qualify families based on insurance, location, age, and service needs. Address questions and concerns while confidently guiding qualified families toward an initial assessment. Follow up consistently to collect documentation and keep families moving forward. Manage a high-volume pipeline with accuracy and urgency. Maintain timely, detailed records in the CRM. Partner with clinical and operations teams to support a smooth transition into services. Meet performance expectations for conversion, completed intakes, follow-up, responsiveness, and pipeline health. What You'll Bring Experience in sales, admissions, enrollment, or conversion-focused role Experience completing 50 or more calls per day in a high-volume environment Previous experience with commission, incentives, or individual performance goals Strong empathy and emotional intelligence Resilience when calls go unanswered or families require repeated follow-up Excellent organization and pipeline-management skills Confidence handling objections and asking for a clear next-step commitment Comfort working with scripts, call coaching, CRM systems, and performance metrics Healthcare or ABA experience is helpful but not required Relevant backgrounds may include behavioral health, home health, senior living, dental, healthcare admissions, education enrollment, insurance enrollment, or warm lead inside sales.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
