Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Arris Healthcare. In this role, you will provide essential respiratory care to patients in skilled nursing facilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while utilizing state-of-the-art technology. Responsibilities Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and response to treatment. Provide ventilator management and tracheostomy care for patients with complex needs. Educate patients and their families about respiratory health and treatment plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Requirements Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of pulmonology, critical care, and acute care practices. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications preferred. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
