Starting pay is $52/hr. for ST and $48/hr. for CFY, depending on experience and qualifications. The role involves screening, evaluation, treatment, planning, family education, and documentation to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The SLP ensures compliance with professional and regulatory standards, advocates for patients, and collaborates across disciplines for consistent care. Requirements include a Master's in Speech/Language Pathology, relevant licensure, CPR certification, and preferred experience in skilled nursing or assisted living facilities.
