Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist can make a real impact in the lives of young learners. This full-time position (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday) focuses on providing comprehensive speech services to elementary students (TK-5th grade) onsite for the upcoming school year. You will work with a diverse caseload and collaborate with educators to support student success across all areas of speech and language development.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with elementary students Proficiency in managing a variety of speech and language disorders Well-versed in the full scope of school-based SLP responsibilities, including direct therapy, comprehensive evaluations, and IEP participation California licensure; CTC credential preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy for students in transitional kindergarten through fifth grade Conduct assessments and evaluations, and interpret findings for families and educational teams Develop and implement goals for students with speech and language needs as part of their IEPs Maintain accurate records and complete required reporting in a timely manner Collaborate consistently with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student progress Provide consultative support and resources for staff and caregivers Embrace the opportunity to positively influence the educational experience of students through dedicated, onsite speech services.
