Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in young learners' lives by supporting PreK students with communication needs for the 2026/2027 school year. This is a contract opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist, focusing on early intervention with a collaborative school team. Key Qualifications:
Current California SLP license ASHA Certification (CCC) required Experience in school settings delivering PreK services Familiarity with SEIS documentation platform preferred AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) experience essential Medicaid Billing experience required Certificate of Clearance (COC) required
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to PreK students in a school environment Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's unique needs Utilize AAC devices and strategies to support students' communication Document student progress and maintain accurate records within SEIS Comply with state and federal regulations, including Medicaid Billing processes for reimbursement Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support holistic care Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for best practices in communication intervention for young learners This full-time position offers an hourly rate between $55-$65, reflecting your experience and specialized skill set.
