e2138-19977 Job Description Step into a rewarding full-time opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic pediatric setting near Smyrna, DE. This on-site position welcomes both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and experienced SLPs, making it a great fit for those passionate about helping children achieve their communication goals while gaining valuable experience in school-based practice. Travel professionals are encouraged to apply and bring their expertise to this collaborative team.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP Either the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to maximize student outcomes Maintain accurate progress records and documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines Provide direct therapy in group and one-on-one settings while supporting classroom integration
