An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide coverage for a maternity leave during the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite position serves elementary and middle school students, offering the chance to make a significant impact on young learners in a supportive educational setting. The assignment runs from September 4, 2026, through December 11, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Key Qualifications:

Current and active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience working within the school environment, supporting students from diverse backgrounds Ability to engage and manage caseloads at both elementary and middle school levels Excellent collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and students

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language therapy services to students onsite, addressing a variety of communication, articulation, and language needs Evaluate, develop, and implement IEP goals in alignment with students educational plans Utilize evidence-based practices and data-driven decision making to monitor student progress Collaborate with other educational professionals and participate in team meetings as required Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Communicate effectively and compassionately with families and caregivers regarding progress and recommendations
