Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role dedicated to supporting students communication needs in a collaborative, educational environment. This onsite opportunity offers the chance to make a lasting impact, focusing on speech-language evaluations while working closely with another experienced SLP who supports nonverbal students in life skills programs. Youll serve a diverse caseload of approximately 5070 students, providing essential services that foster both academic and personal growth.
Qualifications and Required Experience:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Prior experience delivering speech-language services in a school setting preferred Strong background in conducting evaluations and developing appropriate intervention strategies Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills Ability to build rapport with students, educators, and families
Daily Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations for a broad range of student needs Work collaboratively with other SLP staff, particularly for nonverbal life skills students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting for assigned caseload Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary teams Consult with faculty and families to support students educational success This contract position offers consistency with 37.5 hours per week, spanning the academic year.
