Category Therapy - Hospital - SLP Job Type Travel Set in the scenic heart of Pikeville, KY, this travel opportunity allows you to immerse yourself in the welcoming culture of Appalachian Kentucky while enhancing your professional skills. Schedule/Hours:
Day shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Possibility for on-call coverage for stroke evaluations only (rare)
Key Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience as a Speech Language Pathologist Valid license to practice as a Speech Therapist in Kentucky Demonstrated pediatric outpatient experience Proficiency in inpatient swallowing and modified barium swallow studies Must reside at least 75 miles from the assignment location to qualify
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech therapy assessments and interventions for pediatric and adult patients Conduct and interpret modified barium swallow studies Collaborate with hospital staff on individualized care planning and patient progress Deliver care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including coverage for stroke evaluations as needed
