Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions for pediatric patients, including those in early intervention programs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as physicians, educators, and occupational therapists to coordinate care Educate patients and their families on strategies to support communication development at home and in school settings Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment sessions, and clinical notes in compliance with regulatory standards Stay current with advancements in speech therapy techniques, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology to ensure best practices Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist from the appropriate licensing board Prior school experience or pediatric experience is preferred Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and swallowing functions Experience conducting patient assessments and developing effective therapy plans Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology Passion for working with children, especially those requiring early intervention services Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients, families, and team members Join us in empowering individuals through expert communication support!
