9633272-21842 Job Description Make a meaningful difference in young students lives by providing speech and language support in a dynamic elementary school setting. Located near the scenic Ocean City, MD area, this in-person opportunity is ideal for Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) holding CCCs or skilled SLPAs seeking a supportive environmentsupervision is readily available for SLPA candidates. Youll serve a caseload of approximately 60 students with mild to moderate disabilities, focusing on grades Pre-K3 through 3rd grade. Collaborate with educators and families to create a nurturing, accessible educational experience for every child.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid state licensure as an SLP with CCC or as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Prior experience with elementary school-aged children is preferred Comfortable serving a diverse caseload with mild to moderate disabilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration Capable of delivering engaging, evidence-based interventions
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups, following IEP goals Conduct assessments, document student progress, and maintain thorough records Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and caregivers to foster language-rich learning environments Adapt therapy methods to address each childs unique needs and learning styles
