Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist within a welcoming and collaborative educational setting. This full-time role offers an enriching environment where youll make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication and academic success. The position begins in late August, with a student start date of September 8, 2026, and runs through mid-June 2027. Enjoy the consistency of Monday through Friday hours, working 37.5 hours each week. Youll have the opportunity to foster skills, advocate for student needs, and hone your own professional expertise. Clinical fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply, as mentoring and skill development are prioritized!
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Minnesota SLP license (PDF copy required to apply) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but CFs welcome and supported Previous experience in school settings is beneficial, but not required Strong organizational and communication skills Passion for collaborating with educators, families, and students
Responsibilities:
Provide thorough speech and language assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver direct therapy Support students with a variety of communication needs to reach their full potential Collaborate with classroom staff, special educators, and families to coordinate student services Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student progress Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities This position values professional growth and teamwork, providing excellent support for both experienced and early-career SLPs.
