Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school setting. This position centers on providing top-notch SLP services to children ages 3 to 5 in an early childhood special education program. You'll be serving students Monday through Friday, working 37.5 hours per week from late August 2026 through early June 2027.
Key Qualifications:
Minnesota SLP license (must be presented with your application) Strong school-based or pediatric SLP experience, particularly with early childhood (ECSE 3-5 population) Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
Core Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders for early learners Create targeted treatment plans and document progress while meeting the unique needs of each student Collaborate with educators, other specialists, and families to support student goals and foster a positive learning environment Participate in IEP meetings and provide relevant evaluation and progress reports Stay current on best practices and school-based SLP methodologies This contract role places you in a supportive district environment where your expertise will make a real difference during a crucial stage of child development.
