Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting elementary and secondary students for the 2026-2027 school year in the Ramsey, MN area. This engaging role is designed for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) eager to make a positive difference in student development and communication skills. You'll work full-time (Monday-Friday, 7:45am-3:45pm), primarily serving about 57 K-5 students. Your day-to-day will include direct therapy, collaborating on IEP teams, completing due process paperwork, and mentoring a Tier 2 SLP at a nearby secondary campus. Your expertise will be valued in both one-on-one and team environments, allowing you to shape student success across multiple grade levels.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP-CCC certification Previous school-based experience strongly preferred Knowledge of IEP development, due process, and progress monitoring Strong interpersonal and communication skills Capacity to supervise and support other SLP professionals Adaptability and a positive approach to working in dynamic educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language services for K-5 students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Complete all required IEP meetings, paperwork, and compliance tasks Offer guidance and supervision for a Tier 2 SLP at a secondary site Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student communication growth Contribute to a supportive and inclusive school environment Find fulfillment in a contract opportunity where your skills will have a direct impact on students and colleagues alike.
