Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students communication development across K12 settings. This onsite position near North Tonawanda, NY, is designed for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make an immediate impact within a vibrant educational community. As a valued member of the school-based team, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized intervention to help students reach their full communicative potential. With a manageable 35-hour work week and a diverse caseload, youll have the chance to utilize your expertise in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
Current and active NY Speech-Language Pathologist license (required) Prior experience delivering SLP services in a school setting preferred Familiarity with K12 student populations and IEP processes Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and students Ability to fulfill any district-mandated pre-placement requirements
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality speech, language, and communication therapy to students from kindergarten through twelfth grade Complete comprehensive assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and adapt interventions to diverse needs Communicate progress with families and participate in school-based meetings as necessary Stay current with best practices and district/state guidelines for school-based speech therapy
