This contract position offers the chance to make a positive difference for a caseload of 21 students across school settings. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8:55 AM to 4:45 PM EST, including both direct and indirect working hours, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The district is exclusively seeking an on-site professional, as previous virtual solutions were not successful, and they are not equipped to provide facilitators for teletherapy. Ideal candidates will bring:

Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for school-based SLP services Minimum of two years of experience within K-12 school settings Strong organizational skills and adaptive communication style Proven comfort with managing a caseload and initiating services independently Motivation to support diverse school communities, including interest in travel assignments Key responsibilities include: Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans Collaborating with educators and families on student progress Documenting service delivery and progress reports Committing to the full academic year to ensure continuity of care This is a valuable opportunity for those who relish autonomy, are passionate about school-based speech therapy, and are eager to make a lasting impact.
