Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the life of a medically fragile 5th grader by providing dedicated speech-language therapy services in a supportive, home-based setting. This unique contract position offers an opportunity to deliver personalized care, working closely with one student and their family to foster improvement in communication skills.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state license and valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience working within school settings or with pediatric populations, ideally with medically fragile students Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to build rapport with students and families Comfortable working independently in an in-home environment
Essential Responsibilities:
Deliver four individualized 30-minute speech-language therapy sessions per week Tailor treatment plans to meet the unique needs of a medically fragile elementary-aged learner Collaborate with caregivers and relevant professionals to maximize progress and ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate records of all sessions, goals, and student progress in accordance with regulatory requirements Adjust therapy strategies as needed to align with the evolving needs of the student This contract role is a rewarding chance to impact one student's journey, affording flexibility and the ability to focus solely on tailored progress.
