9670434-19082 Job Description Make a meaningful impact by providing speech-language services to K-4th grade students in a supportive school environment. This is a contract role with both full-time and part-time options available, starting as soon as possible and extending through June 11, 2027. Your expertise will help young learners develop critical communication skills, setting them up for future academic and social success.
Ideal candidates will bring:
Current licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Experience working with elementary school-aged children, particularly K-4th grade populations Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders Effective collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and school teams Commitment to maintaining accurate records and complying with school and state regulations Energetic, compassionate approach to empowering young students In this role, you will: Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students individually and in small groups Conduct regular screenings and comprehensive assessments to identify students needs Develop and revise Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams Communicate progress to families and participate in meetings as needed Provide consultative support to educators regarding classroom strategies and accommodations Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with policies and standards Discover the rewards of supporting students as you work within a school-based setting that values your expertise.
