Job Description

Make a meaningful impact by supporting students communication skills in a welcoming educational environment. This contract opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) offers full-time hours in a school-based setting. This position provides the chance to work with a collaborative team, designing interventions and supporting positive student outcomes. Onsite work is preferred, but virtual (VOCO) options may be considered for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal requirements. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support students' progress. Maintain accurate documentation and stay organized with case management tasks. Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings. Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations. Stay updated on best practices and continuing education relevant to school-based speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Active South Carolina SLP license and
SC DOE CERT
(required). School-based experience preferred; open to candidates eager to grow in this area. Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt to onsite and virtual service delivery as needed. Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule with 37.5 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and continuing through late May 2027.
