Job Description

Take the next step in your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant supporting students across multiple school sites in the Fort Myers area. This rewarding contract opportunity will have you working on-site (remote work is not offered), delivering impactful speech and language services to students in a school-based environment. Multiple positions are available, with part-time and full-time hoursup to 37.5 hours per weekby combining assignments across up to three school locations. Preferred candidates will have a passion for student success and the ability to adapt within a dynamic educational setting. This position offers the chance to work with a manageable caseload of 50-55 students spanning elementary and middle school age groups.
Qualifications:
Active Florida Department of Health SLPA license (required) Previous experience as an SLPA in school settings preferred Completion of fingerprinting per state regulations (previous prints through the AHCA Clearinghouse may be accepted with appropriate verification) Strong organizational and communication skills Flexibility to move between assigned school sites within the district
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language support as directed by supervising SLP Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to address students communication needs Track and document student progress in accordance with state and district standards Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development as appropriate Adapt intervention plans based on students progress and unique needs Benefits include a steady, supportive work environment and the ability to shape the educational experience for students who need it most.
