9685358-33914 Job Description An exciting opportunity awaits Speech Language Pathologist Assistants seeking both part-time and full-time contract roles for the upcoming school year in the Fort Myers area. As a valued SLPA, you will deliver in-person support across multiple school sites, working with a diverse student population to enhance communication abilities and improve daily school participation. Several openings are available with flexible schedulesideal for professionals looking to build experience in various educational settings.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs) under the supervision of licensed SLPs Serve a caseload of approximately 50-55 students, addressing the needs of K-8th grade Travel between up to three assigned schools to fulfill a full-time schedule (options for part-time or full-time with a maximum of 37.5 hours per week) Accurately document student progress, maintain up-to-date records, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team Assist in developing and implementing therapeutic activities to support communication goals Ensure timely completion of required documentation and uphold professional standards

Qualifications:

Active Florida Department of Health SLPA license Experience in school settings or pediatric populations preferred Ability to navigate multiple school locations within one week Completion of FL fingerprinting requirements (applicants with prior prints via the AHCA Clearinghouse should be prepared to verify eligibility for transfer or initiate reprinting if necessary) Commitment to onsite, in-person service delivery Grow your skills, impact young learners, and engage with supportive educational teams throughout the contract.
