Job Description

Step into a fulfilling role supporting students communication skills within a dynamic school environment near Lehigh Acres, FL. Were seeking passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for on-site, contract positions with both part-time and full-time opportunitiesflexibility to build a full schedule across multiple campuses in the area. Assignments may cover up to three schools to achieve a full-time schedule, serving a caseload of approximately 50-55 students across various age groups. Your dedication will help foster a supportive environment for students as you collaborate closely with supervising SLPs and educational staff. You will play an integral role in implementing individualized therapy plans, tracking progress, and contributing to the overall success of each child.
Ideal candidates should possess:
An active FL Department of Health SLPA license Previous experience in school settings preferred Ability to efficiently manage caseloads across multiple locations Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards Primary responsibilities include: Assisting in the delivery of speech-language therapy sessions outlined by supervising SLPs Supporting students in achieving IEP goals through targeted interventions Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records Engaging with teachers, families, and staff to encourage student growth Participating in team meetings and professional development as needed This contract spans immediate start through the end of May 2027. Assignments are exclusively on-site; remote work is not available. Credentialing will require active fingerprints registered with the AHCA Clearinghousecandidates with recent prints may expedite the process by verifying their status. A valid JLA badge is also necessary and can transfer between districts within Florida.
