Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) seeking a contract assignment in a supportive educational environment. This full-time role offers the chance to work on-site, primarily at one secondary school near Sugar Land, TX. While the preference is for a 37.5-hour workweek, there is flexibility to consider part-time (approximately 30 hours per week) for the right candidate. The position runs from August 11, 2026, through May 26, 2027. You will serve a caseload averaging 80 students, with the possibility of floating to a second school if necessary. School site assignments are considered with your location in mind to minimize travel. Collaboration with educators and other professionals ensures optimal student support.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid SLPA license in Texas Experience in school-based settings, preferably secondary age groups Ability to adapt and float between one or two sites as needed Willingness to work full-time or part-time as scheduled Successful completion of required state fingerprinting and a background check Please indicate if you have previously worked at the district, and if you have ever been terminated from any school district (affidavit completion required) Professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills

Responsibilities:
