As a Sterilization Technician, you'll be the backbone of our clinical operations, ensuring instruments, treatment areas, and supplies are ready for exceptional patient care every day. If you're detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, we'd love to meet you! What You'll Do Instrument Sterilization & Processing Collect, clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following OSHA, CDC, and state guidelines Operate sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners Package and organize instruments using proper sterilization methods Monitor sterilization cycles, biological indicators, and testing logs Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on sterilization equipment Infection Control & Clinical Readiness Clean and disinfect treatment rooms between patients Prepare and break down procedure trays and clinical setups Maintain a safe, sterile, and organized clinical environment Properly handle and dispose of biohazardous waste and sharps Inventory & Supply Management Monitor inventory levels and restock sterilization supplies Assist with ordering and maintaining supply inventory Keep storage areas organized and efficient Team Support Ensure clinical staff have clean, sterilized instruments when needed Prepare treatment setups based on daily schedules Communicate proactively regarding equipment concerns or workflow delays Compliance & Safety Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, CDC, and infection control protocols Stay current on required training and safety procedures Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
