Shift Requirements:
8 hour variable shifts
M-F Weekend/Holiday:
every 3rd weekend Sat and Sun- will make rounds from 0700-1500 and are able to leave once everything is completed and go on call for the shift
Float Requirements:
May be required to float
Required Certifications:
Certification in Sterile Processing, required. AHA or ARC BLS.
Education:
Graduation of a Sterile Processing program preferred, or relevant work experience
Minimum Experience:
Minimum of 2 years sterile processing experience preferred The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for supporting the operations of the Sterile Processing Department of the Hospital. The Sterile Processing Technician will participate in the all activities/duties of the Department by following policy and procedure for the decontamination, assembly, sterilization and storage of all patient care instrumentation, equipment and supplies. Performs tasks in decontamination, assembly of instruments, sterilization, and may work in sterile cores of the Operating rooms.
Pay:
$1,550.00 - $1,600.00 per week
