Role:
AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a high-caliber, experienced (or trainable) Cardiac Surgery Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our award-winning Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Team in Daytona Beach, FL. This is your chance to join a tight-knit team of six surgeons and 10 APPs in a hospital-based practice known for clinical excellence, teamwork, and innovation. What You'll Do:
Work 3x12-hour shifts/week Take call 1x/week, with 1 in 4 weekends (as part of your 3 shifts) Partner directly with CT surgeons for full-scope case involvement Support CVICU, step-down, floor consults, and surgical cases Perform vein harvesting with Maquet Hemopro 2 system Assist in high-acuity procedures including: CABG Aortic Valve Replacement Aorto-bifemoral & lower extremity bypass Robotic-assisted thoracic surgery Endovascular & AAA repair Carotid endarterectomy & pacemaker removal
