In this vital role, you will utilize advanced ultrasound imaging technology to produce detailed images of patients' internal structures, supporting accurate diagnoses and effective patient care. Your expertise in maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology (Ob/Gyn), and anatomy will be essential in delivering high-quality imaging services. You will work closely with physicians, patients, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a positive experience and optimal clinical outcomes. Duties Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-resolution images of internal organs, tissues, and fetal development with precision and care Assist physicians in diagnosing conditions by providing clear, accurate sonographic images for review Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining a professional demeanor Maintain strict aseptic techniques to prevent infection during imaging procedures Document all procedures thoroughly, including technical details and patient information, in compliance with medical standards Collaborate with obstetricians, radiologists, and other specialists to interpret imaging results and support diagnostic processes Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use at all times Qualifications Proven experience in sonography with strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques and anatomy recognition Familiarity with maternal-fetal medicine and Ob/Gyn imaging procedures Solid understanding of physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles Ability to apply aseptic techniques diligently during procedures to ensure patient safety Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and provide compassionate patient care Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to ultrasound imaging and diagnostics Prior experience working with ultrasound equipment, including troubleshooting common technical issues Join us in making a difference through exceptional patient care and cutting-edge imaging technology!
