Dean's Professional Services is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Ultrasound Technologist - Urology to support a leading healthcare organization in Houston, TX. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled sonographer with strong technical expertise and a commitment to providing accurate, high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.

Prepare patients for procedures and explain examinations clearly and professionally.

Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.

Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment safely and effectively.

Ensure accurate documentation and completion of patient studies.

Follow department standards, safety procedures, and infection control guidelines.

Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.

Maintain patient confidentiality and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

3 years of relevant ultrasound experience required.

ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) registration required.

Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures, equipment, and patient care.

Excellent communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.

Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and patient safety.
