Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
Location:
Beckley, WV Employment Type:
Full-Time (36-40 hours a week)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm No Weekends/On-Call Join a dynamic state of the art Outpatient Endovascular Lab (OBL) as a Registered Vascular Technologist, where you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing, evaluating and assisting in the treatment of complex arterial and venous diseases. This is an opportunity for individuals who thrive on being actively involved in all phases of peripheral interventions and diagnostic ultrasound imaging. Your skills in vascular ultrasound imaging will be essential in delivering exceptional diagnostic services across diverse clinical settings. Responsibilities Perform high-quality vascular duplex examinations studies. Operate and maintain General Electric ultrasound equipment. Collaborate closely with vascular specialist to provide detailed imaging results for diagnosis and treatment planning. Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Document findings accurately and timely in-patient records, preparing detailed reports for medical review and IAC accreditation maintenance. Assist in peripheral interventional procedures and processes when necessary, supporting the broader scope of endovascular surgical care. Skills Extensive knowledge of vascular ultrasound imaging techniques and sonography principles. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Experience and knowledge in operating advanced medical equipment such as intra and extra vascular ultrasound and become facile with PACS systems, and Cath lab inventory. Familiarity with peripheral vascular interventions and outpatient endovascular center protocols is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and explaining procedures to patients effectively. This role is in an Outpatient Endovascular Lab in a teaching environment where your technical expertise directly enhances patient outcomes and standard of care. Pay:
$40.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
