Bagel Shop Service Team - Opening Team Little Ian's Bagels | Baltimore, MD - near Patterson Park Little Ian's Bagels is a new neighborhood bagel shop opening in Baltimore, and we're building our opening service team. We're looking for warm, energetic, detail-oriented people who enjoy taking care of guests and working as part of a team. Our service team will be cross-trained throughout the shop rather than assigned to only one position. Depending on the shift, you may take orders, prepare beverages, toast and finish bagels, assemble orders, or help maintain the dining and service areas.

Pay:

$18.50-$20.00/hour, depending on experience What You'll Do Register & Guest Service Welcome guests and take orders accurately Help guests navigate the menu Process payments Communicate allergies and special requests accurately Maintain a warm, organized, and efficient counter experience Beverage Station Prepare beverages including: Coffee Matcha Fresh-squeezed orange juice Other seasonal beverages You'll also keep the beverage station stocked, clean, and organized throughout service. Bagel Finishing & Order Assembly Receive freshly baked bagels for guest orders Toast bagels properly Apply cream cheeses, spreads, toppings, and sandwich ingredients Build menu items according to specifications Package orders accurately and neatly Double-check orders before handing them to guests General Service Everyone helps maintain the shop throughout the day, including: Restocking Cleaning and organizing work areas Maintaining dining areas Supporting teammates during busy periods Following food safety and sanitation standards What We're Looking For Genuinely friendly and comfortable interacting with guests Reliable and punctual Able to stay organized during busy service Strong attention to accuracy and detail Willing to learn multiple stations Comfortable working on your feet Able to communicate clearly with teammates Weekend availability Morning availability Previous restaurant, café, bakery, barista, or customer-service experience is helpful but not necessarily required. We care equally about attitude, reliability, hospitality, and willingness to learn. Opening Team As part of our opening team, you'll help establish how Little Ian's operates from day one. Training will include multiple stations so that team members understand the full flow of the shop. As we grow, there will be opportunities for team members who demonstrate strong skills, leadership, reliability, and hospitality to take on additional responsibilities.
