Operate POS systems accurately to process sales and handle cash transactions efficiently. Manage retail sales transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and receipt issuance. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, bathroom, and seating spaces, adhering to food safety and food handling guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and beverage service to support daily operations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality standards. Skills Proven experience as a barista with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage service. Strong cashiering skills with familiarity in POS systems. Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, positive attitude. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while processing sales efficiently. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, change calculation, and transaction processing. Previous retail or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
