As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and providing exceptional customer service. Your role will be vital in ensuring that every guest leaves with a smile and a desire to return. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards. Provide friendly and efficient customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering recommendations. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and understanding retail math concepts. Ability to operate a cash register efficiently while providing excellent service. Knowledge of café operations is a plus, including familiarity with coffee brewing techniques. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A willingness to learn about coffee products and improve beverage preparation skills continuously.
